Clear Bloom Botanical Liquid Soap
Clear Bloom Botanical Liquid Soap
Couldn't load pickup availability
A hot-process potassium soap built from 3 certified organic oils. Real saponification — not a surfactant blend, with botanical extracts stirred in. The glycerin that forms during cooking stays in the bottle.
Calendula soothes. Green tea protects. Nettle purifies with a mild natural astringency that gives the rinse a clean, not slippery, finish.
Bergamot FCF, rose geranium Bourbon, lavender, and clary sage for the scent. ECOCERT-preserved. No sulfates, no borax, no synthetic fragrance.

The Botanical Triple
3 botanicals. Each one assigned a job.
Most liquid soaps use botanicals as decoration — a few milligrams for the label story. Clear Bloom runs calendula at 2%, green tea at 1.5%, and nettle at 1.5%. Each one added during the dilution phase after cooking, so the heat-sensitive compounds survive intact.
Calendula (Soothe) — Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract: Flavonoids, carotenoids, and triterpenoids that actively calm skin during the cleansing process. At 2%, it's at a concentration where it contributes something measurable rather than just appearing on the INCI.
Green Tea (Protect) — Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract: Standardized to 50% EGCG — the polyphenol responsible for green tea's antioxidant properties. Even in a rinse-off product, EGCG has skin contact time measured in minutes, not seconds.
Nettle Leaf (Purify) — Urtica Dioica Leaf Extract: Mildly astringent, silica-rich, anti-inflammatory. Its natural astringency contributes to a clean, defined rinse — skin feeling genuinely clear rather than just washed.
Ingredients & Details
The Oil Base
3 certified organic oils. Each one a different function.
Each oil is certified organic and chosen for what it contributes to the lather, the rinse, and the feel on skin. The naturally occurring glycerin stays in the formula — it's what your skin notices after you rinse.
Coconut Oil (50%) — Potassium Cocoate: Lauric acid creates fast-rinsing, cleansing foam. Potassium cocoate is the workhorse of any liquid soap — it produces the lather, and it produces it quickly.
Sunflower Seed Oil (35%) — Potassium Sunflowerate: High-oleic variety, certified organic. Oleic acid softens and conditions the skin during the wash. Calibrated carefully — enough to nourish, light enough to rinse clean.
Castor Oil (15%) — Potassium Ricinoleate: Ricinoleic acid produces a thick, stable lather that rinses completely clean — no residue, no film. It's what gives Clear Bloom that satisfying, just-washed finish.
The Fragrance
Top — Bergamot FCF
Heart — Rose Geranium Bourbon
Bridge — True Lavender
Depth — Clary Sage
Bergamot FCF opens bright and citrus-floral. Bergapten-free, so there's no photosensitization risk. Rose geranium Bourbon (Réunion Island) is sweeter and more distinctly floral than standard geranium — it pairs naturally with the calendula story.
True lavender (Lavandula angustifolia, not lavandin) bridges the citrus and floral notes. Clary sage at 0.05% adds depth without going herbal or earthy. Total essential oil load is 0.80% — noticeable but not heavy.
How to Use
Face, hands, body. One soap, all three.
01 Pump — 1 to 2 pumps (3 to 5 mL) onto wet hands. The lather builds fast — you won't need more than that for a full hand wash.
02 Lather — Work between palms first, then apply to face or body in gentle circular motions. The castor-based lather is thick and stable — it doesn't thin out mid-wash.
03 Rinse — Warm water, thorough rinse. The nettle astringency helps the soap release cleanly — no slick residue, no film. Skin feels clean, not stripped.
04 Follow — For face, follow with a toner or facial mist. For hands and body, Vital Bloom lotion absorbs well immediately after — the glycerin in Clear Bloom leaves skin primed for it.
Storage: Keep at room temperature (15 to 25°C). The soap may thicken slightly in cold conditions — warm it gently in your hands first. Natural color variation from botanicals is normal and expected. 12-month shelf life from manufacture date.

The Ritual
Where Clear Bloom fits in the routine.
Follow with Vital Bloom Hand & Body Lotion
The glycerin retained in Clear Bloom leaves skin slightly tacky in the best sense — it's primed to absorb. Vital Bloom's 4-layer humectant system (glycerin, hyaluronate, aloe, snow mushroom) goes in fast after a Clear Bloom wash. The botanical threads connect: calendula and green tea run through both formulas.
Use after Salt & Bloom Gommage — day-of cleansing
On gommage days, Clear Bloom is the right follow-up cleanser. The salt gommage opens the surface. Clear Bloom's calendula-and-nettle complex cleans without re-irritating skin that's just been exfoliated. The botanical scents — geranium and bergamot in Clear Bloom, orange and geranium in Salt & Bloom — sit in the same family.
